Your matchup

Changing a player or difficulty starts a fresh round.

Normal offers balanced forgiveness. Easy widens pitch timing zones and bat contact forgiveness; Hard narrows both. AI skill also changes. Changing difficulty starts a fresh round.

How to hit

Hold the circle below the strike zone to start a pitch. Drag it to move the bat’s sweet spot. Release when the ball reaches the plate. You can lift early, but that counts as an early swing.

The dashed glow is an approximate aim guide, not an exact collision boundary. The crosshair and barrel band mark your aim point. Pitch location and execution affect the actual contact tolerance. Center the ball there with perfect timing for the strongest contact; the faded edge is less forgiving. You still need to time your release. Match both timing and position. Higher contact gives more forgiveness; power gives well-centered hits more distance. Read the pitch itself: there is no timing meter or predicted landing marker. The zone disappears when the pitcher releases the ball.

Keyboard: arrow keys aim, Space starts a pitch or swings. Enter on the circle also starts or swings. Pausing or opening this menu cancels the held gesture without swinging.
